Care for children and young people
We have been providing home care for children and young people for more than a decade. We are an approved provider of care for Family Services at Barnet Council and we can also provide care for you on a private basis or through direct payments. Our care is designed for parents who may have young children or teenagers with a disability or a medical condition that may require extra support.
Our experienced at-Homecarers can provide that specialised support within familiar surroundings, easing any anxiety of the young person as well as their loved one. We can offer help with getting a child ready for school or act as an escort to a social activity or to a training or support programme. We can also help with dropping and picking up from school as well as specialised care in the home.
We can help with…
Personal Care
Continence Management
Medication Administration
Support at Meal Times
Support in Social Activities
Companionship
Training for at-Homecarers
All our at-Homecarers have completed training across a broad range of homecare related aspects from Equality & Diversity through to Dementia Awareness training. Refresher courses are also attended to ensure that all our at-Homecarers’ knowledge is current.
Companionship
Companionship may be a specific care task you or your loved one may be requiring. Our at-Homecarers are asked to provide a listening ear whenever they can – as we want to get to know you better in terms of your likes and dislikes or what may be troubling you.
Personable at-Homecarers
All our at-Homecarers are expected to treat you with dignity and respect, as if they were a guest in your home. They will arrive on time and ensure that the care tasks are completed, with a level of politeness we all come to expect.
