Volunteer
Volunteering can be a truly rewarding experience, a chance to give back to your community, develop new skills, and meet interesting new people. Being altruistic has also been associated with better mental wellbeing, increased physical health, and enhanced self-esteem – so volunteering may even be good for your health!
Volunteering is a great way to further a cause, support an organisation and make a difference in your community. It can also be an opportunity to meet new people, share your experiences and wealth of knowledge, learn new skills, whether you are on a career break, coming up to a retirement or wanting to give something back. By volunteering at Barnet Carers Centre you will contribute by adding to a wide range of background and skills.
