We are running a Vlogging Training Workshop for our Young Adult Carers on Wednesday the 24th of October (during the half-term week).

The workshop will be held here at our centre and will run during the day (between 10am-3:30pm approximately). Lunch will also be provided.

The workshop will be held by a trainer from Media Trust https://mediatrust.org/. It will be aimed at training you up in the skills needed to create videos/vlogs, to share your views on certain topics/social issues. I am looking into setting up a vlogging platform for those of you who would be interested in sharing your views/stories/experiences of being a young adult carer, so thought this might be a fun training to get you started! J

Some of the topics that will be covered on the training include:

  • The phenomenon of YouTube
  • Filming Fundamentals
  • How do you Vlog?
  • Passion, Purpose and Identity
  • The Art of Getting Conversational
  • Staying Safe Online

For those of you who are interested in attending please can you email me back on this email or call me on 02084322092/02083439698 by Wednesday 17th October. As previously there will also be a free taxi service picking up and dropping off from Burnt Oak station so please also let me know if you would like to be booked on to this. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if there is anything else I can help you with.

The training should hopefully be lots of fun so I hope lots of you would like to attend!
