If you want some fun why not come along to one of our young carer hubs?

We run four hubs every month.  Two for children aged between five and eleven and two for young people aged between twelve and seventeen.  We supply transport to and from the hubs from around the Borough.

What is a hub?

A place to hang out, a place to learn, to meet with your friends and have new and fun experiences.

Our hubs can help you make sure that you stay fit and healthy in mind and body.  Most hubs have a health and wellbeing session.  All of our hubs include great general activities such as console game playing, group games, air hockey and a mini-nail bar).

But we also offer a whole lot more.  Recent sessions have included arts and crafts, Manga comic drawing workshops, cooking and recipe writing, street dance and sports and gym sessions.

The hubs are brilliant.  I have been going for 6 months and it has been a great place to meet new friends, talk to people who are in a similar position to me – I care for my  mum – and just to have a bit of fun time.
