Carers Rights Day 2021 takes place on the 25th November. It is an important opportunity for carers and organisations representing carers to be loud and clear about the vital and important role that carers play within our society, what their rights are and what we should all be doing to celebrate the contribution that carers make.
Carers have played an even more important role in the past 18 months. During the COVID pandemic, carers have had to step in more and more and take on many of the roles that have often been the responsibility of local authorities and other agencies.
Every year, Carers Rights Day helps us to:
- ensure carers are aware of their rights
- let carers know where to get help and support
- raise awareness of the needs of carers.
We would like to invite all carers in Barnet to come and find out more about how they can access information and support and what their rights, as carers are.
